Mr. Ferguson graduated from Utah State University (B.A. 1972), and the University of Utah (J.D. 1975) where he was Comment Editor, Utah Law Review, 1975. He is a member of the Order of the Coif. He was admitted to the Utah Bar in 1975 and the U.S. Court of Military Appeals in 1976. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Utah, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Ferguson served as a Judge Advocate with the United States Marine Corps from 1975-1979 and completed his 32 year military career with the Utah Army National Guard, retiring as a Lt. Colonel in 2002.

His practice with the firm is devoted to litigation, with emphasis in the areas of personal injury, governmental entity defense, medical malpractice defense and defense of ski resorts.

Mr. Ferguson is a member of the Utah State Bar, the Salt Lake County Bar Association, and the Association of Ski Defense Attorneys, and is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
